Heart, Richmond Virginia, October 1978

Heart (Ann and Nancy Wilson) at the Richmond Coliseum, October 1978.  The last shot in this series was exposure #38 on a 36-shot roll...  a photographer can't get any luckier than I did that day.

Footnote:  In June 2004 that shot was used in the liner notes of Heart's reissued Bebe le Strange album, with photo credit to Robert Bibee.  Oh, well.

Elton John at the Capitol Center, Washington DC, July 1976.  I was seated behind the stage and didn't expect to get any good shots, but Elton gave a 360-degree performance and everyone saw a great show.
